This month, we started a new program in our class that takes a look at Internet safety. We have an interactive bulletin board at the back of the classroom that models the online version of facebook.Students have already created profiles and will be updating them monthly throughout the year.
Officer Baxter from the Brantford Police Department visited the class last week to discuss proper online safety practices and cyber bullying.The program is designed to build a community within the classroom where students can get to know each other while working on writing, art and critical thinking skills.
